Las Vegas, NV – Mark Malkowski, President of STAG ARMS, has been awarded the National Shooting Sports Foundation’s 2014 SHOT Business Person of the Year.

Mr. Malkowski was honored at the Bonnier Outdoor Group’s SHOT Show Breakfast held on January 14th in Las Vegas, NV. The SHOT Business Person of the Year award recognizes the individual who has excelled in promoting the shooting sports industry and presenting a positive image while making great personal sacrifices – both in time and financial resources.

“I am extremely honored to accept this award,” Malkowski thankfully stated. “I am proud to be such an integral part of the firearms industry – an industry which focuses on safety and responsibility, and one which has continued to thrive even in times of uncertainty.”

Throughout the past year, Malkowski was valiant in his efforts to protect Second Amendment freedoms for law abiding citizens at both the state and national levels. He eagerly met with media reporters and conducted numerous interviews to educate the public about the realities of impending legislation as well as the long term negative effects these laws would have on the firearms industry once implemented. Malkowski was instrumental in disseminating information to gun shops, gun owners, and the general public and he increased rifle shipments to states facing new, stricter legislation in order to ensure that any law abiding citizen who wanted to purchase a rifle before the ban went into effect could indeed do so. Furthermore, he forfeited a day of business, closing Stag Arms to take his entire staff to the state capitol in a concerted effort to protest the proposed legislature face to face.

Malkowski went on to say he will “continue to be a voice for the preservation of America’s hunting and shooting heritage” and plans to focus his efforts even further on educating the community about firearms safety throughout this new year.

Team Stag Arms' Jesse Tischauser was crowned victorious at the end of the 2013 season by claiming the South Eastern 3-Gun Championship top title. Previously known as the Fort Benning 3-Gun Challenge, the South Eastern 3-Gun Championship was held at The Legion Operator Training Group in Blakely, Georgia. After a two year break, the event was rekindled by both retired and current Army Marksmanship Unit members.

Former Army Staff Sergeant and current Team Stag Arms member, Jesse Tischauser took the overall win shooting out of the equipment restrictive Law Enforcement/Military Division at the 2013 US Carbine Association (USCA) National Championship on November 15-16^th, 2013.

Tischauser posted the lowest overall match time, 252.47 seconds, with only 10 seconds in penalty points to win the LEO/MIL Division by over 29 seconds. The overall match was decided by much less. Only 5.36 seconds separated Tischauser from the top shooter out of the very competitive Open division.

Team Stag Arms’ Jesse Tischauser and Kalani Laker have been lighting up the 3‑Gun circuit late in the season. This past weekend at the 2^nd annual Walking Dead Multi Gun Night Match in Cresson, TX was no different. “This year’s match was even bigger and better than in 2012. The match went from a 2 gun rifle/pistol affair to a full throttle seven stage 3-gun championship in 2013. With over 150 competitors in attendance, match director Jeff Chase has turned his match into the largest night match in the country.

Incorporating the evolution of shooting tactics and rifle accessory technology we created our newest rifle. The new Model 3T provides the shooter with a rifle that is readily usable with many of today’s shooting styles.

Working with multiple law enforcement agencies, a few of which learned speed and accuracy from our 3-Gun shooting team, we have tested and determined the features and configuration which will work best with these new tactics. Utilizing these rifles, shooters are able to produce fast and accurate shots from close to long range as is needed in tactical situations and competitions.

Boasting a 16” free floated government profile barrel with a carbine length gas system the shooter will be able to use many different gripping techniques when handling the firearm. Aiding in accuracy is the DiamondHead USA handguard, which is free floating and modular allowing the attachment of rail sections or sling mounts along the handguard. This also grants the shooter the ability to mount accessories as needed but not be burdened with a full quad rail. Included on the rifle are polymer DiamondHead USA flip up front & rear sights with its patent pending diamond shape to allow faster target acquisition.



The 3T-M and 3TL-M have the same configuration but include an upgraded buttstock, pistol grip, and sight set. The Magpul ACS buttstock provides a comfortable cheek weld along with storage and the Magpul MOE pistol grip offers an ergonomic, hand filling design combining aggressive texturing with storage capability. The rifle includes an aluminum DiamondHead USA flip up front & rear sight set with the same diamond shape as the polymer sights.
